A Shelter Dog Becomes A Hero At An Adoption Event

If you've ever been to an animal shelter (and you're an animal lover like me), you know how hard it is not to just say, “Yep, I’ll take them all.” I mean, surely there’s some room left in the house, right?

Well, at this one adoption event, a sweet shelter dog named Sienna was walking around greeting people, just being her friendly, adorable self. But when she came across one man, she stopped. Just stood there, staring at him. And then she started pawing at him, almost like she was trying to get his attention.

Turns out, something really was wrong. He was about to have a seizure... and somehow, Sienna knew it. She’s not trained as a service dog (at least, not officially), but some dogs don’t need to be. God just wires them with this incredible instinct.

The man was okay, and after the shelter shared the story, people started donating to cover Sienna’s adoption fee. Now, a bunch of families have said, “She’s the one for us.” And honestly? If I were that guy, I wouldn’t have waited a second. That dog would’ve been in my passenger seat on the way home.
