As we countdown to Thanksgiving, we often talk about giving thanks and counting our blessings. But it’s not always easy, especially when times are tough. The Bible nudges us to find thankfulness in every situation.
Philippians 4:6 reminds us: "Don't be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
And Colossians 2:6-8 encourages us: "Then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."
Even when life feels unfair, remember, the hope we have in Jesus is something we can always be thankful for.
