You know when you're in Sunday service and the pastor says something that hits exactly where you're at? That was me this week.
Our pastor was preaching about Sabbath – about how God Himself rested, and how we’re actually supposed to stop, slow down, and breathe. And y’all… the more he preached, the more I realized two things: 1) I’m terrible at resting, and 2) I was getting real sleepy.
Not because it was boring! But because my soul was finally starting to exhale.
By the time we got home, I sat down on the couch and – boom – out cold. Sabbath achieved.
“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.” (Exodus 20:8)
