It’s good to be reminded of things, even when you already know them. Like taking out the trash - Caryn reminded me last night, and I still forgot. Spiritually speaking, I need those reminders too.
Billy Graham once said, “God is calling me not to the playground but to the battleground.” And I need that reminder regularly, because salvation isn’t just about being cleaned up - it’s about being powered up.
Jesus told His followers in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
That’s the kind of power God puts in you through His Spirit. Not just to survive the battles, but to stand strong, share boldly, and love deeply. It’s not about your strength. It’s about His.
