Mission Arlington started with a simple Bible study, but it quickly grew into something much bigger. Tillie Burgin and her team recognized the struggles and hardships faced by many families in their community. They saw hunger, homelessness, and children unable to attend school due to lack of resources. With God at the center of their work, Mission Arlington began providing the necessary support and resources to bring hope and significance to these families.
When volunteers come to Mission Arlington, they are not just sorting clothes or packing backpacks with school supplies'they are touching lives. Each interaction becomes an opportunity to show love and compassion, reminding those in need that God cares for them too. It's a powerful way to be a minister of the gospel and make a tangible impact.
So, what can you expect at our service day event with Mission Arlington? We will be focusing on packing backpacks for the children supported by Mission Arlington. These backpacks will contain essential school supplies that each child needs for their education. Volunteers will have the opportunity to help assemble the backpacks and ensure that each one is filled with the necessary items.
This service day event is a fantastic opportunity to engage your whole family in a meaningful and impactful activity. You can work together, side by side, to make a difference in the lives of children who need our support. Not only will you be helping with practical needs, but you'll also be demonstrating God's love through your actions.
