Sometimes I wish I had a dashboard light that could warn me when my heart’s getting off track — like a little “pride building” or “forgiveness overdue” message. But as I was thinking about that this week, I realized God has given me a warning system: it’s the fruit I produce.
If I notice that love, patience, or kindness are starting to run low, it's a clear sign something in my heart needs attention. In Matthew 7:16–18, Jesus says, “By their fruit you will recognize them... A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.”
That’s a spiritual health check I can’t afford to ignore.
