Living Out a Purpose That Will Last

Life sometimes feels like a never-ending race, always chasing the next big thing. It's easy to get caught up in striving for more... more hours at work, more dollars in the bank account. But the Bible offers a different perspective, reminding us of what truly holds value.

"Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear. For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect."
—1 Peter 1:17-19

These verses remind us that our time here isn't about accumulating wealth like silver and gold. Instead, we are redeemed by something far more precious: the blood of Christ. Every time I read these words, I'm reminded not to chase after temporary stuff, but to focus on eternal treasures.
