Recent events have left many of us in shock as we see the distressing images from the Hamas terror attacks in Israel. Lives lost, families torn apart, and a nation under siege. Amidst this chaos, it's easy to feel helpless. But we can take solace knowing there's One who sees all.
Let's lean on that faith and remember Psalm 46: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble... Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"
Join us in prayer today:
- Pray for the protection of the innocent. Psalm 91:4
- Ask for strength & wisdom for those making vital decisions. Joshua 1:9
- Seek comfort for those with fearful and hurting hearts. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Our ministry partner, Pathway to Victory, has built a portal that offers a comprehensive background of the conflict, biblical perspective from PTV Host Dr. Robert Jeffress. Find it at https://ptv.org/israel.
And please pray for Christian ministries that are sharing the love of Christ by providing relief on the ground in the region. Those include Texas Baptist Men, which is activating its Israel feeding team to respond from a secure location to provide meals for those caught in the conflict, and Samaritan's Purse, which has teams on the ground working with churches to equip and support them as they minister to those affected by the deadly attacks.
